This old pool in Germany has been closed since 1998. 

It was built in 1929 and opened in 1938. 

designed by architect Franz Steinhouer and costed over 2.5 million Reichs marks. 

There are 2 pools of 25 and 50 meters. 

The plans were to make separate parts for men and women but this never happened. 

It closed when there were signs that the ceiling was gonna collapse, and the building became unsafe. 

in 2004 a new pool opened nearby, and scraped all the plans for renewing this old building.

since its monumental listed it can't be demolished and today there are new ideas to change it into office buildings.
